About Us CROSSTIES LUTHERAN MINISTRY RESOURCES, INC., is a non-profit corporation, duly organized under the laws of the State of Texas, under the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act. The purpose for which the Corporation is organized and operated shall be exclusively for religious, charitable and educational purposes, consistent with the doctrinal position of The Book of Concord: Confessions of Evangelical Lutheran Church (1580) and the Statement of Faith stated below, including to: 1. Apply sound Christian teachings to the spiritual, ethical and moral issues of the world of our day; 2. Identify, explore, expose and refute false teachings arising within the Body of Christ; 3. Provide accessible Bible-based spiritual resources for Christian leaders to use to deal with these issues and false teachings; 4. Train and equip pastors and lay leaders in local congregations to grow spiritually and to deal effectively with the opportunities and challenges they face because of the above named issues and teachings; and 5. Work with other confessional Lutheran clergy, laity and congregations to accomplish the listed purposes. The By-Laws which shall govern such opportunities are as follows, to-wit: STATEMENT OF FAITH The Corporation acknowledges and accepts all canonical books of the Old and New Testament as the revealed Word of God, verbally inspired, and acknowledges and accepts all the confessional writings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church contained in the Book of Concord of the year 1580 to be a true and genuine exposition of the doctrines of the Bible. These confessional writings are the three ecumenical creeds (Apostles’, Nicene, Athanasian), the Unaltered Augsburg Confession, The Apology of the Augsburg Confession, the Smalcald Articles, Luther’s Large and Small Catechisms and the Formula of Concord.
MISSION STATEMENT Guided by the Holy Spirit, our mission is to provide training and materials to equip pastors, elders and all other leaders in Lutheran Churches with the resources available in the Holy Scriptures, the Lutheran Confessions and confessional Lutheran studies in order to deal effectively with the opportunities and challenges they face today.
