THE LORD'S PRAYER 2012

The following Lesson Plans were used in a Wednesday evening Bible class at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomball, Texas, beginning in April, 2011. The course was prepared from The Lord's Prayer by Martin Chemnitz, The Sermon on the Mount: The Church's First Statement of the Gospel by David P. Scaer, and Discourses in Matthew: Jesus Teaches the Church, by David P. Scaer. You will find the publication information on those three books in the beginning of Lesson One. All three of these works are well worth the reading and study of anyone who wishes to grow in the knowledge and understanding of not only the Lord's Prayer, but also the Gospel of Matthew. Certainly a class leader or teacher should read and study these three books in preparing to teach any class that is using these Lesson Plans. We pray that these Lesson Plans will at least, in some small way, benefit you in growing in God's pure Word.
